I can't really think of anything?
But the best thing would maybe be a tray of food so mom doesn't have to cook when she gets home? Maybe something that is freezeable?

Honestly the best thing for me was snacks. Since DS was in the NICU, I was barely in my room when food came. By the time I got back it was too cold to eat. Plus I needed energy since I was pumping.

haha that drug they gave me made me itch SOOOO badly. I had my Dad and hubby go buy me one. I was dying! Plus it could reach my legs and back.. such relief.
I loved my ipod with movies and my slippers and robe.

Definitely snacks!! And my girlfriends came to visit and brought me the largest iced coffee DD makes! I swear that thing lasted me 2 full days . . . lol!

I wish I had a boppy at the hospital. I didn't register for one b/c I thought they were pointless. Then I attempted to BF after a c-section w/o one. Yikes.
I made DH go out and buy one!

On my 3 or 4th night my mom brought me up a home cooked meal. The food was terrible at the hospital and it was good to have some real food.
Also my big water bottle with a straw. I was so thirsty all of the time.

these definitely! the boppy made feeding so much easier and less painful and I basically slept sitting up in the hospital bed so my own pillows were a godsend for comfort.

In retrospect, I wished that I had my boppy in the hospital. I was having a tough time nursing and didn't realize what a huge help the boppy was until I got home.

my super soft bathrobe!! i threw it on over my hospital gown when i was chilly and also when i had visitors.
also, snacks and juiceboxes (i was sooo thirsty and i sometimes wanted something besides water)

My friends made me full meals that I could put in my freezer for when I came home. It was perfect - I could easily entertain people and had wonderful home made food that I did not have to think about making after coming home from the hospital. I got myself a robe and night gown set for me at the hospital. I loved having them because I could see people and still be decent.
