breakfast ideas with a toddler
Anyone want to share their breakfast ideas with me, my 21 month old needs something new. he is not big on the usual stuff eggs, waffles or french toast or pancakes. We tried those.
Anything creative?

Banana French toast. Mash up a banana with some milk & an egg. Dip bread in the mixture & fry like you would french toast.

My DS eat pretty much the same thing every morning...
Pancakes, waffles or french toast
with
Bananas, strawberries or blueberries
OR
A bagel/english muffin with cream cheese.

At that age my DS would eat Gerber's breakfast bars. In fact, it's still one of his favorites!
Your son will eventually eat more things - DS will be 3 in August and he just now enjoying cereal and pancakes along with any fruit.

My twins will only eat waffles EVERYDAY. One of them will eat cinnamon french toast nuggets but thats it....drives me crazy

Brown rice farina with lots of grassfed butter
Baked beans, slice of raw cheese and sausage
Sweet potato, bacon and kale hash
Smoked salmon and egg
Avocado and tuna salad on toast
Egg frittata
Breakfast egg and sausage casserole
Personally, I think our American breakfasts are too carb and sugar heavy. Proteins and good fats are the way to go for the first meal of the day!

I agree but my picky toddler would NEVER touch half of those things!!!

yogurt? Or a smoothie with yogurt and frozen fruit? You could add oats to the smoothie too.
My girls LOVE granola bars.
Maybe hard boiled eggs?
Have you tried different kinds of waffles? My girls like the mini ones and we get blueberry or apple cinnamon.
ETA: Check out pinterest for toddler meal ideas.

DS will be 2 next month. Almost every morning he gets a yogurt- he likes the yo toddler or chobani champions yogurts. He likes fresh fruit- favorites are bananas, apples, mango, strawberries, or blueberries. Kashi waffles or a Kashi cereal bar. Homemade blueberry or banana pancakes. A mini whole wheat bagel with cream cheese. Strawberry banana smoothies.

Do you have a recipe for breakfast cookies? I have tried two diff recipes on pinterest and they were  . I know you eat mainly non processed , so please share a recipe if you have!!!
To the OP - DS likes greek yogurt or a bowl of cereal. He gets a ton of fruit in the morning too which really fills him up. He likes breakfast bars too. He used to eat the gerber graduates bars, but they are really processed. I found another bar in the grocery store that was a lot healthier but the name is complately slipping my mind. It was a red box. Ugh, its going to drive me crazy now!

I don't use refined sugars or flours in my baking. I have this recipe pinned, but not sure how it tastes yet.

I made a very similar recipe, only in brownie form and it was fabulous! I assume this is great too.
