Boy Names-- Help me chose
With my first it was easy--since it was after my DH (Christopher)
These are my choices for potential DS
Lorenzo
Santino
Carlo
All would have middle name Raphael (after my dad Ralph)

I don't know anything about real Italian names, but I like Santino. I also think it works well with Christopher.

i have to be honest... i'm not a fan of the italian names - i feel like i can say that because i myself am first-generation american with two 100% italian parents who spoke only italian in the home. oh, and i'm also from brooklyn 
but for some reason i don't love the names...
BUT if you like them i think you should go for it! i might just lean towards one that american people will be able to pronouce (and i think all of the ones you listed are american-friendly!).

obviously this is your baby and you should name it whatever you want but i am thinking that maybe these names are just not what people are used to hearing, or what they "think of" as italian.

2 of them are on my list too, and I like all 3
Our children will have Italian names. I am also 1st gen, DH is 5th gen. We have a ridiculously ethnic last name and his whole family has Irish first names. It really makes people go

i like carlo...my favorite Italian boys names were Valentino and Luca..both are choices for my next pregnancy..
everyone tells me with our ethnic last name the baby will sound like he just got off the boat lol...whatever :)
