i like carlo...my favorite Italian boys names were Valentino and Luca..both are choices for my next pregnancy..
everyone tells me with our ethnic last name the baby will sound like he just got off the boat lol...whatever :)
Thats the way I feel. With stupid names like "apple" and "bronx" for kids, who cares about going back to our roots
Plus--this kid was conceived in Italy

I like Santino....Santi for a nickname!
We wanted a name that was American-ized but easily translatted in Italian...So Lucas for Luca. Most of our family calls him Luca. Middle name had to be Matteo because I love it!!
I also love:
Domenico (Nico for short)
Gaetano
Saverio
Check out this site Male Italian Names if you want more options...but I do like the ones you have listed!

Oooh Ang - I LOVE Domenico - calling him Nico! LOVE THAT!
I also love Saverio. My dad has a distant cousin who lives in Italy and his name is Saverio - and boy is he nice on the eyes!

Not a huge fan of Carlo, since it reminds me of the pizza guy on the corner who had a comb over, LOLOL!

DH has a cousin named Saverio...we call him Sal but I love the name!
Also...love Ciro....ready...
DH's cousin's husband's father is named Ciro and so is one of his grandsons - greatest kid in the world...such a sweetie! Whenever the younger kids call after him "Ciro, Ciro" I think...Giro, giro tondo!
