Re: Bouncer?

I registered for the FP Newborn to Toddler rocker, and I have to say.... I love it I think more than Kristina does! It just relaxes her so much with the vibrations, and it converts over to her own personal chair as she grows up!

I figure I will use this and if I end up needing one that bounces more they have some for $20-30 at Target.

We haven't registered yet, but this is the one we are thinking about. A friend of mine has it and it's great because it bounces and it glides.

Re: Bouncer?

I registered for the Boppy one too in Blue. Although it says only available online, every time i'm in the store they ALWAYS have the pink oneChat Icon . Why can't they make a gender neutral one??

I just changed it to the By Your Side Bright Starts one. It seems like a much better deal anyway!

We got this one too. Looks GREAT! Can't wait for Chat Icon to get here so we can try it out! I love how it glides in both directions - side to side and front to back.

Re: Bouncer?

I have the Playful puppy bouncer, which I love as does DS. in the first few weeks he would sleep in there all the time, it was great. Now he loves to play and it keeps him occupied while I eat or shower.

ILs have the infant / toddler rocker which I also love especially because DS is a spitter-upper and the bouncy seat after he eats sometimes shakes him up too much. The rocker is stationary, but DS is not a sleep comfortable in that chair.

Think about it even if you dont open it and then return it if need be afterwards, this seat is a god send for all my friends. In the beginning when the baby is sleeping all the time, this is great, as they get more alert its a great way to keep them occupied.

I just want to say that when you have a newborn, you are looking for places to occupy them so you can pee, eat, shower, the more the better, when DS gets bored in the swing, its on to the play mat, then when that gets old hte bouncy swing, now even at only 9 weeks we use the highchair because DS loves to look around and this gives him a whole new angle on the kitchen & dining room. I cant wait until he is old enough for the exersaucer and walker!

yes, i find that really annoying! we don't know what we are having, so i registered for blue which would still be fine for a girl i thought. the by your side is quite attractive.

Re: Bouncer?

I had everything.

The FP Soothing Motions Glider
The FP Rainforest Bouncer
The Newborn to Toddler Rocker

When he was a newborn he was in the Bouncer the most. Now - at almost 8 months - he has been in the Rocker for about 3 months or so (and we will use this for a lot longer too) He didn't love the glider - but maybe my next kid will. I gave it to my SIL to borrow - she has twins.

I look at it this way - you will need places to put the baby - we have a colonial so in the beginning we had the rocker upstairs and the bouncer downstairs.

Now, we keep the bouncer at my moms.
