Boot Stretching question
I have this pair of knee high brown boots that are a few years old, but a very plain style that I could totally still wear
I think I have only worn them once or twice because last fall I realized that they are sooo tight on my calf that it is uncomfortable (I probably bought them when I was around 18 and VERY thin.. so I guess my calves got fatter in the past few years ? OH THE JOYS OF HAVING CHILDREN!!!)
My question is... can the shoe maker/fixer man stretch my fake leather boots? Or does that only work with real leather? Is it even worth it to get this done, I'm not sure if it's expensive...
TIA!!!

Re: Boot Stretching question
not sure if they can stretch man made boots. i have narrow calves and inquired about taking in the shaft of a pair of boots i bought. was quoted $60. needless to say, i returned the $250 boots.

Re: Boot Stretching question
I don't think they can stretch man made materials cause they will strain and rip
