Question for my SIL help please!
my SIL is 3.5 months preg. with her first child. she is feeling pressure and a burning type sensation and just feels off.
my mom is the one that called and asked if i had ever felt this..I hadnt i asked if she was drinking enough water and my mom said I would assume so, i told her she needs to drink more water then she realizes.
She cant get into her mid-wife until monday and for reasons longer then i have time to explain she cant just go into the ER (shes not a citizen here (Canada) yet so she would be paying MAJOR $$$$ to walk through the doors which they dont have)
Just wonder if any of you ladies have felt this or know anything???

that sounds like a UTI... the onyl suggestion i would have is to drink a lot of cranberry juice and stay off her feet, if it doesn't get better she really is going to need to go the ER.

I actually just had this recently, I just went to the doctors yesterday ... Doc said that your going to feel pressure sometimes when the baby's moving, and to keep very hydrated. Burning sensation tho? I'm not sure, she might have a UTI? Thats what it sounds like to me, burning and pressure usually means UTI

They have at home/OTC tests you can take to see if it's a UTI.

thanks ladies!!!! shes going to get in as soon as possible monday, but in the mean time she will be resting and drinking water and cranberry juice!
