Billy Bush- Today Show
Do you think he should be fired for his part in "that video"?
He is currently on suspension but there is talk that he will not be coming back to the Today show.
Regardless of whether you like him or not as a presenter on the show do you think this is a sackable offense?

I thought his behavior was bad, it was 11 yrs ago and he seems to behave differently now. Fired, no ( at this moment) It was wrong and I'm sure he and his family are now embarrassed.

I think I'd have to see more of the video to make a decision. From the parts I've heard if I remember properly he just says "huh" and "yeah" and doesn't really add anything. That is just 'moving the conversation along' not necessarily agreeing or adding his own experiences....

After they got off the bus, he asked the actress that they had just been oggling to give Trump a hug. And then in a creepy way said "Give Bushy a hug, too."
To me - that's the creepy gross part of Bush's involvement. Not that he was agreeing with Trump about the things he said.

One one hand - I can see why it is easy to say, oh it was so long ago and he's changed and blah blah blach
But on the other - we are living in 2016 and it's not effing appropriate to say those things nor can a company like NBC condone it. If they give a lukewarm suspension or apology, they can be seen as not taking it seriously.
So the way I see it - people need to start taking personal responsibility for their actions and the consequences that come with it. Whatever that may be. We live in a world where everything is captured, you can't be naive enough to think you'll always get away something.
ETA: In some small way this is an middle finger to Trump and a warning to those in his crosshairs who become collateral damage

^seriously? Those caught in his crosshairs? Yes lets strong arm, shame and threaten anyone that is a Trump supporter.
focusing on BILLY BUSH as the original question is about him not Trump...
I do not think he should be fired. I think this is all being blown out of proportion because its Trump and its the medias way of doing as I said above. Making an example of him because he politely moved along a conversation. Whether I agree or disagree with someone sometimes I just uhh huhh or yes them to move it along and then later change topics. We do not know the true nature of their relationship whether they are really good friends, business associates or Billy Bush was trying to just keep things nice because he will interview Trump again and again and he does work for a big corporation.
Besides the fact it was a private conversation and its a sad unfortunate world we live in that NOTHING is private anymore. And everyone expects everyone else to be pristine and perfect at all times... People judge and throw stones when they live in a glass house.

No I do not think he should be fired. Suspended fine but not fired for something that happened 11 years ago. I also think Joy Behar should be suspended for calling all Bill Clinton's accusers tramps.

When I first heard the tape, I was really shocked at BB's reaction and was wondering what the fallout would be for him - thinking there would be some repercussions, but not sure what. But, then, later I saw more of the tape - when they first get off the bus, and also when they go inside and he's talking to the woman about how DT always gets the woman and then asking her to walk in the middle of both of them - I might not be describing it very well, but it was pretty creepy, especially since he knew what DT had just said. I'm still not sure if I think he should be fired. I love the Today Show, and have been watching it daily for years - I think this incident puts them in a very tough position. Like others have said, if they are seen as not treating this seriously enough, they will look like they condone what happened. But, firing someone is also a very big step to take.I don't think any action should be taken because of any relationship BB may have w/DT, but because of his statements and actions at the time of this incident. I didn't vote in the poll because I'm not sure what I think should happen

By your logic, then Hillary herself is a victim of this sad, unfortunate world we live in and can't be expected to be pristine and perfect all the time.

I don't think he should be fired. I'm almost surprised at my opinion, but I don't, unless he was working for the Today Show at the time, which he didn't. I don't think he's a good person, but he wasn't the one bragging about sexually assaulting women.

I don't think he should be fired, but his suspension seems appropriate. I don't like him though and I don't think he adds anything to Today.
ETA: I don't understand how he can be fired from his job, but Trump, who said all of what he said, can still run for President.

I don't think he should be fired. This happened 11 years ago and I think everyone involved thought this was a private conversation.
To those who say he should be fired - Is there nothing that you said or did 11 years ago that you would regret if people knew about it today? Do you think you should be held accountable for every action that ever occurred in your life regardless of the amount of time that passed?

Interesting that he is one of THE Bushes. And the Bush family hates Trump. Not that it means anything regarding his suspension.
Regardless, even if he is sacked from NBC I am sure he will land on his feet.

if Donald Trump is still allowed to run for PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES after saying those vulgar and crass things, which were far worse than what Billy Bush said, I don't see how Billy Bush should lose his job on a TV show.
As a side note, I had no idea he was a "Bush".

I don't think he should be fired now for something he did 11 years ago. If he had just done it, that's a different story. However, this isn't a regular job. It's a TV show. And NBC has to worry about their ratings, too, so I can see why they wouldn't want the negative publicity.
Also, I can't get over the fact that someone would be fired from a tv show over this...but the person who said the worse things can still run for president of the country. Seems to be an imbalance to me.

I am also surprised that I am saying this but No, I don't think he should be fired.
On a side note, had he stopped Trump in his tracks & put him in his place, Trump would have had him fired 11 years ago.
