Big fight with DH - update last post

I went to the dr. last month, who told me to stop with OPKs and the CBEFM and just BD every other day from CD10-CD20. He also told me that since I got pregnant in November, I really had only been ttc for 4 months, not 7. Whatever. When I heard all this, it put my mind at ease, and I related it all to DH.

Well, in order to know when to expect AF, I've still been using the CBEFM, because my O date is different every month. DH said to me today, that I'm going against the doctor's orders, and I should be relaxing, and if it's gonna happen it will, yadda, yadda, yadda.

I've been of BC since January '07. "It"'s happened once - and ended badly. I'm 33; he'll be 30 in September. I don't think he gets that I'm getting worried - about my age, how long it's taking, what if I finally get pg again, but have another m/c.

DH is as stubborn as a mule, so am I. I figure if it were goint to happen this month, it will have already, but I'm just so annoyed with his attitude.

I have no idea if I'm looking for advice, a shoulder to cry on, or just to yell & scream about DH right now (and there's more to that I don't feel like adding).

If my calculations are correct, you have been off BCP for 18 months and had one miscarriage. I do not agree with your doctor regarding stopping all charting and monitoring. There is no such thing as trying too hard to get pregnant. I am also 33 and started seeing a RE after 6 months of trying without success. Go with your gut and follow your instincts. You may have to explain the biological clock issue to your DH.

Thank you all for your wellwishes. DH actually came home from work and apologized today (not an easy thing for him to do).

And Babyfaith, thank you for your 2 cents, I'm with you on it. If it doesn't happen for me in July, (I'm still hoping for June, and I feel like I did play my cards right), I will be going back, and demanding a referral. I'm not getting any younger. While one baby would put me over the moon, 2 is what I've always wanted.


So thank you all for taking the time to read my post, know that I'm in a much better place today than yesterday, and I'll keep you all posted.

Is this an OBGYN you're seeing? or an RE? - Just an FYI, you might not NEED a referral to see an RE, I didn't with my insurance. And I did not go the 'normal' trying for a 6 months - a year route at all.
I knew something wasn't right with my body, I didn't need the Dr. to tell me. After getting a normal period every month my WHOLE life, I was suddenly having 50+ day cycles. I called my insurance and asked if I needed a referral, Nope. - I went to the RE myself. -
