Best school trip you've ever been on?
I'm a 7th grade teacher in Queens and I'm getting tired of taking my kids to the same old places on trips. Where was the best place you've visited on a school trip when you were a kid?

Sunken Forest on Fire Island was a great day trip. I remember doing Caumsett state park as an overnight trip, that was a lot of fun (I think it was 4th grade though).

I went to Caumsett too! Great trip.
Another great trip was to an Amish community - I dont remember where it was, somewhere in PA I think?
We took an overnight trip to see the Liberty Bell.
In Jr High we took a trip to see Showboat in the city.

Best trip ever..6th grade. Liberty Science Center. The whole 6th grade took couch buses to NJ stayed all day and had a blast. I would go back now.

I have not gone here, but how about Stone Barns at Blue Hill (just outside of Tarrytown, a bus can make the trip in 45 minutes from Queens!)

Going to see Phantom of The Opera in 11th grade (I know, that doesn't help you). We also saw Les Mis, Miss Saigon and Sunset Blvd. I had been dying to see Phantom for ages, and was soooo excited (I had already seen Les Mis and Miss Saigon before the school trips).
