Re: bed rest!!!
Are you at home or in the hospital?
The first few days are the hardest. I'm in my 6th week of strict bed rest at home.
BabyCenter has a Bed Rest Club that I've found helpful.

Re: bed rest!!!
i'm sorry are you on bedrest at home?
I was only on bedrest in the hospital, but one of the social workers did talk to me about bedrest in case I was able to go home. She basically said that you have to be careful because at home you are much more tempted to get up. You might think you are just gonna get up to get a drink or to get up and do something quick, but that all adds up. She suggested that before you are left alone for the day, make sure you have everything you need...including a cooler with food/drinks. That way you only need to get up to use the bathroom.
I am not gonna lie, bedrest stinks and it's boring but just find things to occupy your time (books, puzzles, movies, etc). It will be worth it in the long run for your LOs.
hang in there

Thanks girls. I have an ob apt tomorrow so I'm sure we will go over more. It's all sinking in slowly. Very slowly.

Re: bed rest!!!
I was on bedrest a lot throughout my pregnancy!! My biggest advice is just to listen to your doctor and not stress out about it! Things will get done and if they don't it will be all ok.
Some other advice would be... 1. have your DH pack you a cooler with breakfast, lunch and a drink or two. It is one less trip that you have to make. 2. Take people up on their offers to come visit...those days were the best! 3. Take a shower (if you are allowed) and get dressed everyday, you will feel better about yourself. 4. I started looking into birth announcements and I did my address labels for my announcements. I also watched alot of tv show series on netflix.
Hang in there!

Re: bed rest!!!
I've been on bedrest since 29 weeks. As pp have said: accept all visitors, get dressed, save shows you like for when DH isn't home, make online photoalbumns?, print or collect addresses for birth announcements, sign up for skype if you have out of town family for once the baby comes good luck! hopefully it goes by quickly.
