Beach vaca with nonstop toddler!
Oh boy do I fear going away next month with my 18 month old DS. He'll be 19 months when we go.
He does NOT sit still. We go to library class or other classes and he is the only one roaming around the class. Has to find doors to knock on, hiding spots (this is a big thing of his to always hide behind or under things... He does this with all his toys or my stuff too.  ), and never sit down for a moment.
He's sweet as can be, but needs to see and know everything.
Next month we go to Aruba. My 3.5 yr old is and has always been a good (somewhat) listener. Plus, he's older. I just see me running after him every 2 seconds. We are lucky to be going with my IL's, but it will mostly be on me to keep him entertained.
If I put him down he is off. Doesn't care where I am or even look for me. Ugh!
Am I alone here with a roaming toddler that will take off the moment they get a chance? I'm guessing no or the kid leash wouldnt of been invented. Lol

My DS is 13 months and is always on the go. We jsut trade on and off with my DH as to who is "on duty".
ITs how I get my exercise these days.

We were in Myrtle Beach for a week this past summer - Colin was 15 months, Sean just over 3 ........
You will not sit down at the beach - EVER !!!!

That's pretty much what I expected. Thank goodness for going with inlaws so they can babysit a few nights and DH and I can go out.

Beach vaca with nonstop toddler!
DS 1 didn't sit still and it looks like DS 2 will be the same way. We spent a lot of time in the pool on beachy vacations as opposed to the beach because it was just easier.
