BEach gear w/ a toddler
Moms with Toddlers what do you find are the necessities while at the beach (going to the beach) esp if you go alone with your toddler?
I want to be prepared this year. I find that I go to the beach only a few times a season bc I feel like I have too many things or not the right stuff.
Do you all bring an umbrella? Which one do you recommend?
I have the beach caddy which I love!

Re: BEach gear w/ a toddler
If I am by myself, I bring my stroller, which DS naps in, a small cooler with drinks/snacks, a couple of towels, beach toys, change of clothes, baby powder, and suncreen.
I don't bring an umbrella bc he likes to run around, so I don't see the point.
He is shaded in his stroller when he sleeps.

Definitely an umbrella. We set up near the water and dig a big hole under the umbrella, throw a bunch of toys in there and DD plays for a while.
Pail, shovel and other toys, we usually bring her toy story bath toys and some cars.
Lots of snacks, juice box as a treat, water.

we live in Huntington, it's West Neck beach. The parking lot is awesome, the rocks suck lol but it's close to home and accessible with a toddler!
Umbrella (s) Yes, there are two. I believe I got them from Target too.
