Just don't plan on sitting down and you'll be fine.

Re: Beach with an active toddler..?
Last summer DS was around that age and we found that Westmeadow Beach in the afternoons were a great option. We would go in the late afternoon when it was nearing low-tide and we could walk out to the sandbar. DS loved to just walk and walk and walk with his bucket in hand. We would fill it with all kinds of fun things.
Have fun!

my DD isn't crazy active so this might not even help-but once she saw all of the pails, shovels, and sand toys i bought she was thrilled to just play with them in the sand. also, i brought her there hungry and brought all her favorite snacks and food and she just sat there for a good 1/2 hour and ate!

We just took Frankie, and I felt like it was more trouble than it was worth! Such a PITA lugging all his shittt there and then the pain it was to get him cleaned up before getting in the car.
I much rather go to the pool with him! So much easier!!
