I think it would depend on where on your body you get it.

I vote for THUG LYFE on your abdomen...

Where on your body do you want to get it done?

I wouldn't, but then, I have no connections to Brooklyn!

If you feel strongly about it- go for it! I think it would look good in a pretty font.

ETA: I would go for the back so it could be easily covered if you don't want it showing in the future.

Not always a tat fan, but I vote yes for those two locations.

I would get it on the inner wrist.. the lower back tattoo has a stigma attached to it now.

What happened to the other tattoo idea you had awhile ago?

Re: Be honest...will I be a "tool" for getting a tattoo...

I'm not a fan of the idea, but as someone mentioned earlier, I have no attachment to Brooklyn... also, it's just not my style.

When it comes to tattoos, I like to sit with the idea I have for a few weeks (or even months) and then see how I feel about it then... if I'm still in love with it, I get it because I know if I was still in love with the idea after 6 months or so, than I'll probably love it forever. Make sense?

Love you, but not a fan. I feel like you might regret it down the line.

Chat Icon yeah i'm feeling it a teeny bit myself. i think you might be still in the post-concert bliss of jayz & mary. let it fester for a few weeks and decide whether you want to do it after that.

I've always loved the idea of having one on the inner wrist but after talking to friends about it (mostly guys) they say its "not cute" for girls to have it there. Chat Icon
I would love to get one too but I just don't know where I would put it. Chat Icon
I personally don't like a tattoo on the lower back so if were between the two, I'd go for the wrist!

IMO If YOU like it, that's all that matters.

There are plenty tattoos out there on people I've seen that had meChat Icon , BUT if it means something special to you than DO ITChat Icon

I think you are too worried about what others will think. I say go for it, if you're sure it's what you want! Chat Icon

To the OP-if you do I would suggest back-I also love the idea of a tat vertically up the ribcage(may hurt though since on a bone)

Getting a tatoo doesn't make a tool. Acting like a tool, makes you a tool.

As long as you get it knowing there are people that judge tatoos, even scripty Brooklyn ones, I see no issue with it.

My hesitation on the wrist location is I picture the upscale wedding with a snotty MIL looking for an event planner. You may be ok with not working with someone who would judge a tatoo, but you're still leaving money on the table.

Re: Be honest...will I be a "tool" for getting a tattoo...

I think a tattoo is a personal expression and you shouldn't have to ask anyone if they think it is what you should do.

If you want it and you have throught it through and it would mean something to you - go for it.

If you are asking if *I* would do it. The answer is no. But I am tattoo free for 3 decades and counting!Chat Icon
