Dermatologist always told me baths every night kills natural oils and is harsh on skin. My skin is very dry... So I can't bathe every day!
I bathe kids twice a week.
Wash their butts much more often.
Ditto.

Every other night for 2.5yo DS, unless he is particularly dirty or sweaty. We end up doing it more often in the summer due to the sweat factor, or if he goes in the pool.

DD is 5 months and has dry skin. We bathe twice a week unless she leaks out of her diaper and needs a bath. She's on solids so I wash her face and neck area after each bath.

as soon as the belly button thingy feel off. My girls both get baths every night unless they are sick.
