Last Q for tonight I promise...its another TMI Q for those that had tears re: the sitz baths

So they gave me this sitz bath to use when I got home from the hospital...I forget how many times per day they suggested I do it...does anyone know? thankk you Chat Icon

I'd do it as often as you like. Hope it heals fast for you!

I also had tears. I just filled a couple inches of hot, hot water in the tub and sat in it for about 10 minutes a couple times a day.

tucks pads also helped between the sitz baths.

i'd say do it as often as you need in order to comfort yourself. I agree with the tucks pads as well. The hospital also gave me giant ice pack (in the shape of one of those giant overnight pads). Those helped too if you happened to come home with any. I'm sorry...it'll get better real soon.

I used it for at least 2 weeks after I got out of the hospital, I say use it as often as you need to... also I had dermoplast, pain relieving spray that I used sometimes instead of the tucks pads...

I used it like 3 times a day.. I used the dermablast everytime I went to the bathroom it seemed to help I didnt tear i was cut thoughChat Icon

I did mine 3 times a day for 20 minutes. But you can do it more if you need too. Even though I was in agony from the pain, the quiet alone time was very stress relieving.

They told me 2x a day but I did it more.
