Bathroom upgrades
DH and I are going to be gutting our master bathroom soon. We definitey want to get frameless glass shower doors. Can you guys give me a ball park figure of how much this costs? We would also like to do radiant heated floors if it fits ino the budget. Roughly how much does that cost? The bathroom itself is not very big at all, so we're hoping we can get everything, or close to everything, that we want.

Re: Bathroom upgrades
My frameless doors were $800 or $900 with installation. Much less than other places I quoted and they look great!

Re: Bathroom upgrades
Who did you use for the doors?
Regarding the heated floor.... Isis great
How much it costs, I don't know we did it as part of a larger renovation that had a lot plumbing. It depends on how your boiler is set up, how accessible everything is etc. the piping is cheap, wire to the thermostat is cheap, it adds a few dollars a soft to the tile work. The controller set up and valves and labor involved in that are where the real cost is.
You can do it with electric or plumbing.

Who did you use? We got quotes of about $1100 - $1400. But it also depends on the size of the door and the thickness of the glass

Glass express. All of my other quotes were similar to what you got. The glass thickness was the same as other places. I would guess my shower is average size. I have a door and then a half wall of glass next to it. I was so skeptical but they look great and don't leak.

Re: Bathroom upgrades
I didnt quote! My other estimates were over $1500 I believe. I remember thinking they were twice as expensive. This was last December so not too long ago.
