Baptism planning?
At what age did you contact the church and begin planning the baptism?

Re: Baptism planning?
we were a little late with dd2 b/c we moved but at 4months I started planning and had it around 6 months. We moved in July and had it the beginning of Oct.
It really doesn't matter what age. DD 1 we had it at 4 months old.
dd2 was the oldest one there but again it doen't matter. Its up to you

Thank you! I'm hoping to have it in the spring or early summer, but was unsure when I should contact the church.

Baptism planning?
I haven't started and she's 3 months old. I'm thinking around 7 months we will do it but that's normal (Greek Orthodox) to do it later than earlier. I'm just adding it to the list of things I need to work on after the holidays. Oye!

Baptism planning?
We wanted a summer Christening and we contacted our church 3-4 months before (and were the first ones requesting that date).

Re: Baptism planning?
We baptised DS at 3.5 months, we contacted the church about 2 months before... we also had to attend a baptism prep class.

Baptism planning?
I would call sooner then later, especially if you have a date in mind already. I waited way too long and had to change the date I had in my head...

Baptism planning?
we contacted the church when she was about 1 month old. she was baptised at 5 months - only because she was so small when she was born and we didn't want to take her out of the house too soon or have her mingle with that many people under she was bigger
