Bagels on a plane
Can you bring a dozen bagels purchased outside the airport on the plane in your carry on???
I am going to see my mom for Mother's Day & would LOVE to bring NY bagels for breakfast the next morning...I looked on the TSA website & can't find anything!!!!

Solid food is fine. It's only liquids that have restrictions. Especially now that many airlines don't serve meals. Many people bring food on-board.
When I saw the title, I was looking to see if there was a Samuel L. Jackson reference in here....

Oh yeah!! When I visit my parents on LI, I bring back on the plane cold pizza (in ziplocs), bakery rolls, bagels, etc. I always wonder if security laughs at me as soon as I pass through

I never thought they would let you go through with cold pizza!!! OMG, I am going to have to get that for my dad! He LOVES NY pizza...My suitcase is going to be full with food

We brought bagels to Hawaii for my SIL. Just wrap them up in ziplock bags and you should be fine.

My mom brought me a few dozen bagels when she came to visit last week, we ate them the whole week. yummy!!! eta....I also have a FREEZER full of mini bagels.

Seriously, this is what my parents do every fall and spring when they go to FL to open and close the house down there! It's hysterical, they travel with an entirely seperate bag that is for the sole purpose of carrying on "NY food" to bring to my family in FL.
