Sorry to hear about this Kathy --- I had problems when they were doing my colposcopy, similar but not nearly as bad.
Hopefully on Thursday things will be much smoother -- maybe you can take a muscle relaxant before you have any more poking around in there....

I'm still really sore today. I got up this morning for work and couldn't even stand up straight so I decided to stay home. I slept until 12:30pm and got up and still hurt - but not as bad as last night.
I don't even know if this is normal!

I was wondering if you stayed home today... I'm glad you did!! You needed today to get better! I'm sorry to hear you are still so sore

I'm glad you stayed home. It is a perfect day to be lazy and lay around watching TV; you deserve a break.

PS I just wanted to answer your questions...my OBGYN said she didn't want to sedate me to do the biopsy. She said since Im going to the RE on Thursday, we'll just see what she has to say. To tell you all the truth, I am scared to go to the RE...just because I dont know what they are going to want to do to me. But I know that I want to have children so badly that I will do what I have to do. Baby dust to all of you and thank you again for your posts  It really does help! Kathy

RSONY is awesome, just think they do this all the time. They could probably do any test quicker than your OB could do a standard pap. Also, I really hope they recommend you a knew OB. If this one wants to wiat until you see the RE anyway than why the heck did she torture you!!!!!
Just think Sr. Mary Bray will make it all better.

Omg Kathy, that sounds awful. So sorry it was so painful.
I've had 2 biopsies and they were nothing like that!!! My RE was so gentle, he was joking around, I was laughing, sharp pain, and it was over.

I feel much better. Not 100% but close. Tomorrow is my RE appointment and I am SOOOO looking forward to that. I feel like its a light at the end of the tunnel - well, I'm HOPING that it is anyway.
All my blood work came back fine. progesterone is good - 14. My annual exam from the OBGYN came back fine too.
I just wish I knew why the heck she couldnt get in to get the endometrial biopsy. Anyone ever had that happen before? And if she couldnt get thru with her clamps and tools, then how are the little swimmers supposed to get in there? What, is there some kind of lock and key? A secret password? A special kock? How does anything get in?
