Re: BABY REGISTRY...

Is it possible she hasn't narrowed it down fully yet? When I created my registry I had 3 strollers on there (so that I could remember which ones I was deciding between) until I was able to get to the store and do my research and narrow it down to 1.

Otherwise, yes, it's completely excessive. I can only ever see needing 2 at the most. A full-size and a lighter weight umbrella stroller.

Re: BABY REGISTRY...

Sometimes you put one and then someone buys one but not the exact one you wanted so they would both pop up on the registry

NOT normal. I put 2 strollers on and got weird looks. One is a lightweight stroller, one is the big bulky travel system.

Could be that she wants one for the grandparents' houses?

BABY REGISTRY...

I'm a stroller addict and put 0 strollers on my registry. Chat Icon 4 is excessive. I didn't put any because I like high end $$ and didn't want anyone to feel obligated to purchase it.

I do not think 4 strollers is normal. I have one. I considered getting a second one for travel that folded really small but decided against it.

Completely excessive. I'm having twins and only registered for a regular stroller, not even a snap and go because I felt like a crazy person getting 2. I may end up getting a snap and go just for convenience but I'll hold off until I see when they get here

I don't know either, but I did go to a baby shower recently were they registered for a stroller almost $1,300!!!! That thing better walk, feed, bathe and put a baby to sleep for that amount of money! needless to say, nobody purchased it for her.

BABY REGISTRY...

Not normal.

I would say 3 is the max I could possibly understand - 1 each for the cars of husband and wife and maybe 1 for grandparents.

But I wouldn't put those on the registry, no more than 2 on the registry for me...the other would have to be purchased on its own. But that's just me.

Snap-n-go
Umbrella
Jogging

Maybe multiple umbrella strollers for multiple cars or grandparents?....

I realize I'm stretching, but just trying to figure out why someone would *need* 4....

I think 3 is more than enough. I have regular stroller, jogger and a lightweight one.

Re: BABY REGISTRY...

I own 4 strollers, but all have different uses. Regular for everyday, Snap n go (it's only a base so maybe it doesn't count as a stroller), a running stroller, and an umbrella stroller.

With that said, everything was pretty pricey except the Snap n go and I wouldn't have put the pricier ones on my registry because there is no way anyone would buy them for me and the amount of money I spent on them were ridiculous.

Well I have quite a few stroller and use them all for different purposes... I actually do use them all too haha I guess I'm a little crazy. But anyway:

Jogging stroller - we live by boardwalk and do run with him
Snap and go - easy and lightweight for when they are little
Umbrella - easy and lightweight for when their bigger
Full size stroller - mostly my everyday stroller, use it for walks and bigger shopping trips or outings e.g., mall or amusement park when I need a larger under basket than what my umbrella has
Another Full size and umbrella that I leave at my mom's house (she watches DS) - for reasons above, these are both hand me downs though.

I only registered for the jogging and snap and go though. I won the full size and I actually lied I have two full sizes I just bought a city select ogf craigslst because we need a double hahaha. I forgot about it because it's in my garage.

So in total thats: 7 :/

BABY REGISTRY...

4 seems a little excessive. although i get that they have different uses.

the only thing i can think of, is she put them on their to make sure she gets the registry discount when she goes to buy them.

as a twin mom, the snap and go is an absolute must! they are very inexpensive and a lifesaver when they are newborns/younger infants. it's just a frame, so it's super light. I am trying to remember if I donted mine or if it's in the garage. you're welcome to it if I still have it.

That's a lot of strollers. I have 1.

What's the deal with this snap n go? I hear everyone on here talk about it and have never seen or heard anyone mention it IRL!

Re: BABY REGISTRY...

When I had my first I had 3 strollers. Snap and go travel systema good lightweight umbrella stroller.

Then I found out about the city mini, got that gave my mom my lightweight stroller got rid of my travel system stroller.

Now a days with all the options of strollers I def can see my self wanting a ton of them Chat Icon but in the end I would only choose two snap and go for when they are in the infant seat and then one more for when they are out.
