ARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

So I'm talking with DH this morning, and he springs it on me that he has to be away for work alllllllllll next week (the 27th - 31st).

Not only is our anniversary on the 30th, but I'm supposed to ovulate sometime that week. If you read my "signs" post, it just makes this news even more sucky.

eta - I didn't even tell DH about the "signs" or that that week would be a good one to be home - I don't want him to feel any pressure or any guilt. He doesn't do well with stress when it comes to BD-ing, KWIM? Chat Icon

i'm so truly sorry....

this is why i shudder when i read posts like yours (the sign one)... I know how it felt to plan and have so much hope for special events....

we had a wedding in July and i wanted to badly to sit around the campfire and announce the pregnancy (it was a 2nd wedding, VERY laid back, a destination wedding and it was dave's best friend and they knew how we were trying)...

then my brothers' birthday in August - i wanted to badly to raise a glass at dinner and share the wonderful news (again - with my family, good news is shared whenever, so not a huge deal)....

Then our honeymoon in September...i wanted to be able to have a belly....

All of those dates/times were WONDERFUL, do not get me wrong, but every one of them, i had a slight twinge of regret...which took away from the joy...nothing major - but it still hurt a touch....

Re: ARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

I know what you're saying, and I'm totally not getting my hopes up about anything I posted earlier - I just though it was a strange coincidence. I'm just seeing it right now as another month down the drain and I'm only on CD 3. Chat Icon

I also know that I said that I was just going to go with the flow this month and I still plan on doing so - you never know, right?

very happy to help sweety!!!!!!

I was 100% POSITIVE that we were out for the month - we were only 'good' and i didn't have any 'special feelings' at all....but the bfp was very real!

Oh I am so sorry hun! But try to hang in there. You may ovulate earlier than usual or something. Who knows! Good luck! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: ARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

Ugh- that stinks. I just went through that this week- I was due to ovulate and DH had to go away for work all week. I swear, it actually crossed my mind to fly up to Baltimore to "visit" him, but then I realized that was....well....RIDICULOUS!Chat Icon Ah, TTC can certainly bring out my inner nut job!

I am consoling myself by thinking about how I will miss the torture that is the TWW this month!

Can you jump him before he leaves on the 27th and then as soon as he gets back on the 31st? Then, technically, you'll get in 2 times during those 5 days. You NEVER know!! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

HA! I can just see it - "Ummmm - I'm calling in sick to work today to fly to Minnesota to BD with my DH so we can get a BFP this month" Imagine hearing that message on the sub service machine? Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

I like the attitude you have about the 2WW - remind me of that in 2 weeks! Chat Icon Chat Icon
