Are your husbands in shape?
My DH is a gym rat. He loves to go and is bummed if he can't make it there at least 4-5 times a week.
He has a great body and is ridiculously strong.
He does love to snack though which is why he has to work out as often as he does.
He will also gain a few pounds here/there and literally will be depressed. I never notice the weight gain on him and think he always looks great.
What about your husbands?

Nope!
He was in great shape when in the Navy.....but that was many, many years ago!

Right now DH doesn't think he's in shape. Before I met him he said he was 100 lbs heavier then he is now and lost a lot of weight by carefully watching what he eats and working out consistently.
Then I came alone.. lol (or so he says)
Since moving in together I'm trying to support him by buying healther foods.

For the most part yes, but he isn't happy with himself right now. He used to work with me and we have a gym on site, since he left, he has found it hard to get back to the gym. He is naturally thin though, he just feels out of shape

Yes, my husband loves running and does weights a few times a week.
His diet isn't perfect, but its good enough and he has a tall, lanky body type so he doesn't really have to worry about his weight. Jerk.

For the most part. He has a very physically demanding job and in Sept was severely hurt in a work related accident. He was actually getting a bit of a belly and then after he got hurt, he lost a about 15 lbs.

No but I'm really hoping he does something about it. He's getting older and now has high cholesterol and triglycerides. Basically risk factor for a heart attack. His A1C was borderline high as well so a sign of becoming diabetic. I know I can't make him so I hope this is a wake up call for him.
I am overweight but I have always stayed on top of my health. Making sure my labs are in check and for the past 18 months I have made exercise a regular part of my life. So while I have a very long way to go with my weight I live a healthy lifestyle compared to him.

i would say yes, he may be like 10 lbs over where he wants to be, but he goes to the gym 6 days a week, and if he stops eating donuts for a week, he magically drops 5 lbs... its so annoying!

Yes, very.
Better than me and recently has dropped a lot of weight and probably in the best shape hes ever been.
Very proud of him.
I will never take that away from him, being a gym rat and taking care of himself.

He is not physically fit, but he is definitely not overweight at all...6'5 and maybe 210lbs. He's got a great metabolism so he'll probably never be huge.
I know he's not happy with the way he looks and what his body is capable of at the moment...he used to run cross-country track, but he's had both of his lungs collapse and have to have surgery to ensure it wouldn't happen again...he's also got some heart issues (afib, vfib...) so he's not sure what exactly he can do.

YES! He wasn't always. He was once fat and lazy...but he has since lost over 50 pounds and works out every single day and eats very well. He does p90x and Insanity and he and I are going to start running together.

Yes. My DH is a "runner" unlike me....I classify myself as a "jogger." He is long and lean. His diet is whatever I make it....he would eat a shingle if I served it on a plate. He doesn't complain about anything when it comes to food. He loves to snack but is happy to eat fruit & veggies too.

My DH is a competitive runner - so yes, he is in shape. Right now, however, he has an injury and is resting. Needless to say, this has been a difficult 2.5 weeks for him.

same here! my dh is a carpenter and a drummer and that's about it for working out and he is totally ripped! plus he eats whatever he wants and as much as he wants...god I can't stand him

always, but never in a gym.
tall and lean, marathon runner/mountain biker.
has noooooooooo idea why i would give 40 a month to WW. has no idea what it is like to gain weight.

absolutely....he is a gym nut...If he is not in the gym, he is in the gym in our basement. He use to go to the gym 2 times a day...
He can snack all he wants bc he wals around NYC all day...

More or less. He doesn't work out anywhere near as much as I do, but he's fit and trim and has naturally high metabolism (I envy him for that!). He did make a new years resolution to work out more though... I think he's looking to put on some muscle.

Yes, my husband is in very good shape. He's been athletic all is life. Even if he stops going to the gym for a month he is still in great shape and picks it right back up again as if he never stopped going!

This is my DH - he is amazing! He is 47 and runs like crazy - when he races he is always the top in his age group, and usually the top 20 total!
