Are you giving your infant a flu shot?
Just wondering what you guys are planning. Please let me know if your child is in daycare if that affected your decision.

Our whole family will be getting flu shots this year... we got them last year too (regular and H1N1... and I was pregnant)
DH and I will both get one and DS (3) and DD (9 months).
And yes, my DC are in daycare.

If DD can get it, she will. She's not in daycare but her brother is in school and she goes to pick-up/drop-off.

DS is not in a daycare, he is the only baby where he is watched. I will most probably not give him the flu shot. I will get it as will DH and his caregivers

Last year we did not. This year I will most likey get him the shot. He started preschool 8/16 and has been to the dr about 5 times being sick. So yeah I will loose my mind otherwise.

They are in daycare and if I don't and they get the flu I will feel terrible so we will all probably get it.

I'm going to say not sure./..because DH and I haven't really discussed it. Even though he works in a school he never gets the flu shot. I've gotten in the past but didn't get it while pregnant last year.
ETA...he is in daycare but a cmall home based daycare. So that has me thinking yes.

Yes - DS will be getting his first dose in early November at his 10 month appt.
I will be getting it as well, not sure about DH (he got H1N1 last year, his first flu shot ever, and was sick a lot so I'm not sure he'll do it again).

DD will be about 7 months and will get it. Older DD is almost 4 and will get it.

DS is 10 months old and already had his first shot...Too many risks. The flu shot this year has the H1N1 in it. Hubby and I will get it too.

DS got it last year as an infant and will again this year as a toddler. I am a SAHM but we go to a couple of mommy and me classes so I'd like him protected.

No i will not be giving DD the Flu shot, ir she was in Daycare or around children all the time I would but at this time she will not have it nor will I. I never have gotten the shot before.
