probably not..... i'm too much of a loner to be a good friend. I love being by myself. Or just with Rich.
I don't call people "just because" - i don't like to hear myself talk.
HOWEVER
If you are my friend, or even a friend of a friend, and you are in need, I'd drop anything and everything to help you however I could.

I'm a good friend for people with a similar friend style as I have.
If someone wants a friend who they can call to shoot the breeze, to talk about serious stuff, to laugh with, I'm a good friend.
If someone gets pizzed off because they need daily contact with their friends or are too high maintenance, I'm not for them.

yup, I am the friend who crawls out of bed @ 3am to pick up your drunk arse or jump your car in a blizzard. I've done this more than a dozen times for a few friends

this is pretty much me. Except that i like to spend time with Mike. not Rich (nothing against Rich or anything, but that would go against my "Loner rules of friendship" pact that i have with myself).

I only have about one friend who I talk to everyday (whether it be on the phone, text message, email, whatever). I am not a needy friend, but this particular person is truly my bestest friend ever and I don't know where I'd be without her.
However, for the remainder of my friends I try to be good about droppin a line to make sure all is copasetic. However, don't expect me to make all the effort because it won't happen.
I will drop anything and everything for my friends at the drop of a hat if asked/needed.
But please don't ask me to go to a club, or bar, or some other place that I should be 18 to get into. I'm out of that phase and have zero desire to go back. And if that makes me a bad friend, then go find a new one.

I have the same issue, I have a few friends that only want to invite me into the city or somewhere late at night, and I have no interest in that anymore, especially since I had my daughter.
Other than these friends, I wouldn't say I'm a bad friend, but I'm definitely not the type that calls every day (I don't call anyone, even family, every day). But I think the type of friends I have are not the type that need that from me anyway.

I am definitely a good friend. Once I consider you a friend, there is nothing I wouldn't do. While I don't get to speak to my friends every day, I do love to spend time with them. I understand that people get busy and don't always have time to call or even want to talk. I love to make my friends laugh and try to be as honest and objective as possible.

I am a horrible friend. I never want to go out, because I love to stay at home, and I never return phone calls. I really enjoy my alone time way too much.

I am a great friend. I would do anything and everything for my friends. But my friends have to understand ME, in the sense that I am not a person who calls everyday, I do not always have time to talk but when you need me, I am there for you.

I believe I'm a good friend. Do I call every day? Nope, but i don't think that makes me a bad friend. I am always there for my friends when they need me, and if something important is coming up for them, or if they mention something in passing, I always follow up to see how things are.

I'm a good friend and I am always trying to be a better friend. However, if you judge my friendship by whether I remember birthdays or anniversaries, then I suck. I care every day and I don't keep track of the dates anymore. I used to keep track and sometines I wish I still did but there are so many dates now!

Same here, I don't like going out for the sake of saying I went out. Am past that stage. And would not pick up phone or return calls sometimes unless I really am in the mood to talk.
