Are Le Creuset pots worth the $$?
Any cheaper alternatives that you like? I would like a dutch oven. Makes me giggle just saying that

I always loved them, now i wouldn't get a whole set but I have my 6Qt and just broke my 2 QT (which i was sad) i have a few smaller bowls as well. I would like the fry pan and i think that would be it. I use it once a week at least.

my dad bought me the knock off ones and that's all I have. I love them and they work amazing, but I have never used the brand ones so I have nothing to compare it too.

I know Rachel Ray and Emeril make knock offs. I think you just want it to be cast iron. Also beware for those of you that have glass top ovens, they are not recommended as they can chip them bc of the weight.

we have 1 le creuset pot and absolutely loooove it. We have one knock off (I can't remember the name) and it is also good. it did chipc a little by the rim though, but im sure this could happen with any of them.

i only have a few le creuset pieces but i think theyre totally worth it. AND they carry some stock at homegoods for WAY cheaper!

I have a Lodge cast iron dutch oven and its FABULOUS. It also cost me about $40 at Wal-Mart compared to a $300 Le Creuset.
IMO--cast iron is cast iron--right??

my roommate in college had them and I loved them! I got the emerill versions and they are good but the le creuset ones are better imo
