It looks from the pictures that you were the only woman up there when you were getting shaved! You are BRAVE! I think what you did was awesome.

How many women actually shaved this year???
Well Friday night at the kids event i believe there were 4 or 5 girls. 3 of them were sisters one was about 6 the other was about 11 and the other was about 13.
Yesterday there were I believe 5 +/- total.
I love seeing other women shave. Believe it or not, nobody this year that i know of just cut their hair and donated.
One of the founders (who is from Northport) was out on Friday night and met a guy at the bar with long long hair and told him he'd sponsor him $1000 if he would come shave his head. So he held his word and shaved his head and odnated about 13".
I had a blast yesterday. I'll post my pictures..eventually
