Anyone Have Any Important Dates Coming Up Around the Time of Your Due Date?
MrsR's post about having her baby - and our responses about having bris on Jewish Holidays made me think of this? Anyone have any dates they're hoping to avoid? I do!
My due date is Jan 28th. My closest guy friend is getting married Feb 7th. I'm either thinking that I'm going to have the baby on his wedding date or day before or something and not be able to go or I'll have a boy and the bris will fall on the day of his wedding, day before, etc and he and his fiancee and family won't be able to come - nor will I be able to go to wedding!
Anyone else?

My EDD is Feb. 10th... we have a wedding of a very close friend on Jan 30th...so I'm reaaally hoping to attend...
Other then that... Valentines day.. HA. I'm hoping to have my baby with me on Valentines day... aww.. LOL

Well my due date is New Years Eve, so by default I am smack dab in the middle of important events. This will my my DH's and my first holiday without family.

Like MrsR, I am also due soon so I really want to make my scheduled repeat c/s for 9/30 and to not have to worry about the holidays. I am currently 37 weeks. The woman who will be DDs baby nurse is on vacation in California and is not returning until 9/27 so I really don't want to go into labor before hand. My BFF is getting married on 10/18, and I am in the BP. I need the baby to come on 9/30.

I'm due 4/3 and easter is 4/4. Sooo, I was kinda hoping the baby won't come before then.

my best friends bachelorette party is on Halloween and while I KNOW I don't have to go, it's not this crazy important thing but she's been in my life since we were 9, I'd be sad to not attend... although knowing her....she'll come to the hospital instead of her bachelorette party HAHA! (halloween is 8 days before my due date)
side note; I would NOT be sad going into labor just sad to miss a part of her special day.

Im due Dec 27th so yeah im probably going to have the baby either on christmas or new years haha (maybe ill be lucky and go like 2 weeks early!)

So fun that I inspired a post..lol! I had another date I was trying to avoid (and did so!) My daughters 4th bday was 9/14...I was hoping that they wouldn't have the same bday!

Delivering 5 weeks early on my mother and my birthday (January 31-it was bad enough for me growing up  )-I don't foresee that though!
I am not sure when Passover falls, but if it is around my EDD, i would like to dodge that!

I'm due on Christmas day.. and I want to avoid that at ALL costs. And my wedding anniversary is Christmas eve. Not that serious but i don't wnat to be in the hospital when santa comes to my house

this may sound dumb, but i am due 3/6 and i would really hate it if :notfindingout: were born on the ides of march (march 15th)
but i am also looking to avoid:
march 1 - National Pig Day
march 4 - Holy Experiment Day
march 5 - Multiple Personality Day
march 20 - Extraterrestrial Abductions Day
march 25 - Pecan Day (i hate pecans)
march 14, though, would be cool - it's National Pi Day

I am due on 1/29 - DS's bday. Dr says he is scheduling a section one week early: 1/22 - other DS's bday. We're working on picking a date that is not either of those.

I would love 1/31 because I love odd numbers, BUT, if it's a boy, then the bris would be on my friend's wedding date, so I'm screwed. I would also like 1/23 but I really don't want to go early! I'd settle for 2/3!

We have a wedding 10/17 (5 hours away in GA) and our anniversary on 10/18.
Our due date is 11/9 - so even though DH really wants to see his friend's wedding - I know he has doubts! Five hours is a long way from home - just in case. I hope we can make it!

I'm due the week before Thanksgiving and my 10 year high school reunion and a good friend's wedding. Not to mention I'm due the day after my Grandfather's birthday and a week before FIL's birthday. Busy time in Nov! If she comes 3 weeks early it will be my birthday!
