ha ha, yes.
our finished basement is filled with displays/collections of Star Wars memorabilia (including a real Darth Vader standing in the corner  ) , then the other walls are sports themed displays with Mets and Red Sox colors. Our doors and trim are painted Fenway Green, and there are various types of toys/pictures/memorabilia everywhere.
We have a tv, futon and recliner down there, and it's where our guests stay.
I wouldn't call it DH's man cave necessarily since we both hang out down there. It's just his room to decorate as he wishes and a place for all his stuff to be.

Yes, and it is horrible.
I made a big mistake of saying he could have the downstairs den. And, well, its the first room off of the front door foyer. It is a mix of Frank Sinatra's mug shot, various nick nacks across all sports, posters of anything he ever went to - whether it be sports, music, golf (doesn't play), you name it. Ticket stubs, my dog's crate, stocked wine bar, a huge TV that is almost the size of one full wall and my beat-up couch.
I'm begging for it to be redone or for at least some nice doors to keep it out of site!

Well, when we redid the basement I told him that it would be his to design...but I didn't let that happen
The basement is his man cave - but with my design ideas. I did agree to hanging three guitars from the wall and I think that was a BIG compromise!

Yes....it was one of the searching points for us when house hunting. All I asked when he set it up was no naked girls on the wall and he obliged.

Yes - I have a full basement - he decorated it Yankee style
The top half of the wall is yankee grey, the bottom is yankee blue and there is a white chair rail that runs thourgh it. He has all of his autograpghs and sports pics hanging, a really nice flat screen and we are going to build a bar!!

we do. we havent touched it yet...it still has wood paneling and tile floors. but it has a bar, pool table, couches, train set and sports paraphernalia. yet DH hardly goes down there.
