I am..with being pregnant I tried not to keep it on alll the time but it has been a scorcher and home with dd, i need it..dh tells me to put it on but still so scared to see it!

I would be if we weren't on a budget! I pay $140/month and usually end up in a surplus. When that happens I don't get billed for a month.

We got ours thurs/fri
$495 (small colonial). I knew it had to be about that. I did somehow pay extra to national grid (I guess I sent them a monthly payment twice?) and we still have a $17 credit, so it makes LIPA a little less painful.

Yeah and we have a 1 bedroom! But con ed loves to quadruple what you pay kw/hour in the summer months!

Ohhh, we got our's already.
It was a shock to the system to say the least.
We knew it was going to be higher, but we never expected it to be as high as it was.

Not too bad. For the 'comfort' of CAC, I'll pay it.

same here! Last month my bill was 235 I freaked out. this month I have been trying to keep the AC and Big Tv off but it's tough I'm home all day w/ 2 kids

I got mine last week for this month & it wasn't too crazy but I'm scared to see what it's going to look like next month. I've been running the ac's non stop and if this heat continues it's going to be ridiculously high.
