Any '06 Moms not ready for another yet?
I am really not ready to even remotely start trying. Either is DH. And honestly we even said even if we just had Andrew it would be perfect. I go back and forth.
Does anyone else feel this way?

We are not ready yet either. We are going to start trying towards the end of next year so by the time he/she is born Michael will be about 3.

Steven was born at the end of 06, so he'll be a year in two weeks. I said I wanted to be pregnant by the time his first birthday came.
Now that it's here we aren't even close to being ready! We want some more time with just him. Also, our place is too small for US nevermind another baby. Also, my mom would kill me if she had to change two babies diapers

I am completely with you. DH is done-done, I am on the fence. We'll figure it out in the next couple of years, right now we love where we are!

I was hoping I'd be ready by the time DD turns one but that's this Saturday.  I am so not ready. I just can't imagine how I will handle 2 alone. DH travels most weeks for work and I have no help here in Chicago. I think I just have to take the plunge and hopefully hire some help when #2 arrives. I really want them appros. 2 years apart so I think we'll start trying around January.

Me. I just don't think I could handle it yet. My life has changed so much and I'm just adjusting to the one child, I don't think I could handle 2 right now.

I am an '05 mom and we aren't ready yet. I feel like everyone who had babies on ehre around when I had mine is pregnant again! But financially we aren't ready for 2 --- and we both have health-related issues, DH with a med he is on, me with my weight, that we need to attend to first...so we are just not ready.
Although I do have days when I wish we could just try now!

The original plan was for them to be 3 years apart. I'm getting to the point where I'm thinking about it but I'd still like to wait til this summer to TTC. DH on the other hand would be happy with just her now that we have her

I am really not feeling ready but #2 is on the way!  
Its a blessing and I am not complaining but I would have liked to have more of a break- for my body and my mind! DS will be 16 months with baby #2 is born.

I dont know how I will cope with working FT and having 2 little ones
so I guess my answer is not yet

DH and I had finally decided to start to try for our second child, but......I lost my job.
So that was nixed.
Ideally I wanted our children two years apart. Then I changed my mind to three years apart and then back to two years apart. Well, now I'm not sure when we'll be trying again.
I want to go back to school, so we'll see. Otherwise I would have been ready.

I am not even close to ready. DH wanted to start trying next year, but then he decided to go for his MBA, so we will probably wait until he graduates, which would be in about 2 years. I am in no rush at all!

I have an 06 child, even if she was my second. I am not ready to have another, just yet! She is a handful and there will be at least 3 years between her and the next, IF there is a next. I want another, DH does not.

Honestly, I was perfectly happy with just my DS, but I knew I wanted my kids to be close in age so here I am expecting #2. I'm getting more and more excited about it now though!
