Another NON TTC topic - 10/13
Sorry to add but I'm on a kick!!
What's your favorite show you've seen on Broadway....or if you didn't see it on Broadway, what's your favorite musical?
My favorite Broadway production ever was a revival of Carousel MANY years ago. I've never bawled my eyes out so much. Close second - maybe even a tie - was a revival of Sunday in the Park with George. Forget it, I probably cried more at this one- almost from start to finish! 
YES I'm a snob.
I think the most PERFECTLY written musical in the world though, is My Fair Lady. Sweeney Todd, close second. And guys, don't let the movie affect your opinion (though I haven't seen it yet).

I have loved Rent ever since I saw the cast on Oprah over 10 years ago and begged my dad to take me to NYC to see them. He did and it was one of the best trips we ever took 
However, I saw Wicked last year and that was pretty amazing too!

i LOVE a Chorus Line...i can sing every word of every lyric....
I also love the movie of West Side Story and My Fair Lady....haven't had the chance to see those yet....

I absolutely love going to see Broadway shows!! I loved Mamma Mia! Also, Legally Blonde I just saw a week ago and it was amazing as well!

did you see the girl who won the reality contest on MTV? I LOVED that show on MTV - that was the best talent competition I've ever seen on TV.

I always try to have a 'musical' themed costume for the costume parade at school. First year I was Dorothy, second year I was Annie (little orphan - some kids had to ask me who I was!  ). This year they aren't gonna have a CLUE who I am and I DON'T CARE! This one's for me! I'm so excited!

Jess - it fits AWESOME and it's even better than the one I wore when I did the show!!!! The hat kinda stinks...but the dress is awesome!!! I just have to get a parasol and I'm SET!
And I rented it for only $30!!!

Hmm...
I loved Rent, Les Mis, Wicked, Miss Saigon. Can't choose a favorite because I feel they're all so different.
I didn't care for Grease or Chorusline (although I loved Geneseo's production of Chorusline I saw years ago)

DH and I saw Wicked last year and we loved it. I have seen so many broadway shows. I love Chicago, Aida, Beauty and the Beast, and so many more.
DH and I are going to see Avenue Q next month, I heard that is supposed to be really good.

Loved Ave Q and Wicked..
One of my fave musicals of all time is Guys and Dolls..I know all songs and I am SUPER excited that a revival of it is coming to Broadway next year!

I love, love, love Les Mis! DH took me to see the revival for my bday two years ago and it was even better than I remembered. I will go see it if it ever re opens. It is so romantic and has so many good songs.
My second fav is Chorus Line- love the story and so many songs, too.
Not a fan of Phantom at all.
