An update(little long) and a Thank you
I wanted to say thank you to all the amazing girls on here for there prays, hugs, kind words, will to help and keeping my little peanut in your thoughts. I was blown away with all the response here and on Facebook. So many were willing to come to my hospital bed,keep me company and bring me food. It truly touched my heart and I can't say thank you enough to all of you!!
So before I start forgive me for not using to much medical terms:blus: they threw sooo much at DH and I last night I can't remember meds names and such so I'm sorry After a millions hour at the hospital they let me go at 10:30. I came home., showered ate a big meal finallly! Can I say that was horrible not eating all day!!The meds seemed to work but at 2:20 I had contractions again 3 mins apart but thank god they went away after 15mins. I drank a bottle of water and they were gone. Then again at 4:10 I had one big one and samething drank some water and nothing since I was in tears thinking of having to be admitted again and the thought of going into labor. But my OB said if they stopped within an hour I didn't have to call.
I'm on stick bed/ pelvic rest for the remainder of my pregnancy or until otherwise. I have to drink a bottle a water an hour or more if I'd like. I'm only aloud to get up to use the bathroom or shower and my showers have to be fast. She doesn't want me on my feet for no more then 10 mins at a time. I'm not aloud to drive and no stairs. So DH took off today to stay with me and my mom will be home tomorrow. I'm scared to be left alone
I have to go back again tonight for more monitoring and to receive another sterirod shot for the babys lungs JUST in case if they see me having contractions again I'll have to stay for a day or two and they will give me another round of meds for my contractions to stop and she said if this continus I'll either be put on an oral med to stop them or some sort of pump I'll have to wear till the end of my pregnancy that is inserted into my leg and meds are pumped through. I'm again praying it won't get that far.
Today we will meet the head NICU dr at Good Sam and they will run us through the "WHAT IF's" which I'm happy about. I wanna know what they will do to help me little peanut grow and be strong.
They are also talking about seeing the dr's at Madonna. They think it may be best to be monitored by a high risk dr. So I'll find out more about that either today or tuesday at my next visit. I'm going to make another post about this but anyone go there? How are they? Where are they located?
I still can't believe this happen! I'm so scared and worried for this baby!  is only 3 pounds! but I've read and heard from the drs that they have a great survival. I hope I make it a few more weeks to give time to grown more!

I am glad to haer you are home Tara I can only imagine the emotions you are going through! I believe the strict bedrest will be good for you & you just need to take care of yourself & your little bean. It is great you are meeting with the NICU Dr today & finding out the possibilities!

Wow, I must have missed all this. Have not really been posting. I'm so sorry you are going through this but it sounds like things are being monitored and watched so sending lots of and that you stay on a good track.

The doctors at Madonna are great. I see Dr. Goldstein and can't say enough nice things about him and the wonderful people in the office. They will take great care of you and your little one.

So Glad they were able to stop the contractions.
Please do as your Dr. said and follow the bedrest rules. It's not that bad - I've been doing it for 8 weeks now and you will get used to it.
Your baby has an excellent chance at this point. My friend had her daughter at 27 weeks 14 years ago and she is a healthy, happy, extremely intelligent girl. So your will be fine.
I don't go to Madonna but I'm sure they will do a great job monitoring you and Good Sam has an excellent NICU unit (you will love the Drs. there), I met with them many times last year when we were trying to save Rogan.

So glad to hear you are doing okay!!! My friend goes to Madonna.. she likes it.. and a few others I know go there and have gone there.. so you will be in good hands.. also its a good thing you are at Good Sam since they have a NICU where as Southside does not! Hopefully DC stays pout for a few more weeks and follow doctors orders! Hang in there!!

Sorry you are going through this, yesterday must have been a nightmare for you. Get your rest and stay positive that your baby will be fine.

If it's any consolation, our neighbor had her baby at 30 weeks, and he's just fine now
