Welcome and best of luck. You may want to start charting now so you get to know your cycles a little better before you start TTC. it can be a little stressful trying to figure out all of that stuff when trying. A Clear Blue Easy Fertillty Monitor might work for you or just regular ovulation predictor kits. You might also try temping. I don't do that but some of the ladies on here do so they could help you.

Alright, take two since the first post did not post for some reason 
My name is Katie, I am 27 years old, and will be getting married this October 18th and we plan on TTC as very soon after we get married.
The reason why I am joining so early, is that I have been told, pretty much since puberty that I would have problems getting pregnant if I would be able to get pregnant at all. I had an infection when I was very young that they said could have caused sterility (it was before I was sexually active so I had never been checked and went untreated), and have had Ovarian cysts since I can remember, and they said that some that have ruptured may have left scar tissue (I don't believe it is PCOS).
Fertility issues run in my family (I am a product of Chlomid  ) as do miscarraiges.
I have not had any fertility tests done, as I would really like to do everything I can naturally, then move on to what might be inevitable.
Since I have been worried about it pretty much my whole life that I can't have biological children, I want to take the bull by the horns and be as prepared physically and menatally as I possibly can be.
I started to temp this month, and I am going to try to track CM, although I never really get any.
If you don't mind, I will be picking your brains and I need all the advice and I can get!
Thanks so much for reading the long post. I look forward to getting know all of you, and I hope I don't see a single one of you in 9 months when it is my turn to TTC!

If you are suspecting issues with fertility, you may want to post this thread on the IF board. The ladies over there are very knowledgeable about many aspects of fertility issues.

From what you posted here on the TTC board, you may want to start with a full work up with a regular ob/gyn to get some answers to your questions and concerns. I think it's great that you are thinking ahead and want to get a jump start on any potential issues. If your regular ob/gyn finds any issues that might make it hard for you to get pg, I would head to a RE when you are ready to seriously try. Hopefully you won't have to move over to the IF board. GL!
