? about dr. appointment
I have an appointment tomorrow with the GYN which I made in April.
The reason I made the appointment was b/c at that time it was over 50 days from a progesterone induced AF. (recently off BC and no AF so dr. gave the progesterone)
So then AF did show up, it took 74 days!
So now I am CD28, no AF and the appointment is tomorrow night.
I have been temping and charting but I see no pattern yet.
Should I keep the appointment? or should I wait a little longer to see if AF shows up?
I waited so long for this appointment

I would still go, she can do a blood test to check your progesterone to see if you ovulated, because if you are not ovulating, you might want to get some other tests done.

Given your history of irregular O, I think it's time to see a RE. Do you have PCOS? If so, you may need medication to help induce O and regulate your cycles. HTH!

I was on BCP for approximately 10 years. I stopped taking them in Dec. (also, I was regular before going on BCP)
When I didn't get AF for 0ver 50 days the GYN did blood work, which she said came back normal, and gave me the progesterone to bring on AF and perhaps jump start my system again. She said it could take a while for my system to regulate.
Since that period it took 75 days to get AF on my own.
Now I am CD28 and waiting.
Would all this be considered a history of irregular O, or just my body trying to regulate?
I'm assuming when she said the blood work came back normal that I do not have PCOS?

It shouldn't take your body this long to regulate. BCPs can mask other problems like PCOS.
