AAAAAHHHHHHHH...HAve I told you how much I heart this weather?
I do. I know I am in the minority here, but I truly do. This time of year I focus on the one reason we bought our "fixer upper" house and not on everything in the house falling apart...I focus on our lake. DD is napping after a play date at our house. I brought the baby monitor down to the dock and floated around on the lake for 30 minutes. Ahhhhh.
Days like today make me stop and thank God for such a beautiful day, that I had the day off, that DD slept long enough for me to have 30 minutes of "me time" swimming in our lake and that this is the first year since moving here that I am able to swim BY MYSELF without DH helping me ion/off our dock (year #1 = c-section in may...no swimming for 8 weeks.
Year #2 = heart surgery in May no swimming for 12 weeks).
I don't know...all these posts complaining about the heat made me want to hop on and just be thankful for such a wonderful day.
HEY, it's better than a snow and ice storm!

I don't mind this weather either- but I'm ALWAYS cold unless its 90

It is a fresh water spring in Monroe, NY (next to Woodbury Commons Outlets).

I feel so alive... this is how I need to live.
Hot, swimming, shorts, bikinis, flip flops... floating in the pool, cold drinks, itaian ices- hot nights- warm morning... the list goes on and on!

ITA! Exactly! Dh on the other hand...loves snow. BOOOOO. That is why we still live in NY. Otherwise LaJolla CA, Florida or Hawaii here I come!

ITA, much better than snow and ice!!! I'm not a fan of humidity, but it's much easier to enjoy this weather than in the winter.

Me too. I REALLY hate this weather. You can't go outside for 5 minutes without sweating! Ughhhhhh, I am a cranky beast too! Did I say how much I hate it?

I love the summer weather! Granted I have my ac blasting because its too hot to move but BBQs, relaxing outside, walking in the park, playing with the dog, shorts and flip flops, the beach, swimming, everything about warm weather makes me happy!
There's nothing i hate more about the winter than the fact that I always feel sick - always sniffling or sneezing or shivering... and walking around bundled up to my ears in blankets and clothing...
I just wish I was off more to enjoy it!!!

I HATE IT! My apartment was like an oven when I got home yesterday and I was a bridesmaid in my brothers wedding on Saturday and taking pictures at Westbury Gardens was anything but pleasant. It was 98 f'n degrees!!!
