a optimum voice question

we have a phone line (optimum) scrictly for our central station monitoring. We do not have a physical phone hooked up to it. Once in a while I check the voicemails & missed calls online.
The caller ID pops up on our TVs & its always a telemarketing call & since there is no phone to answer, it irritates me. I don't want caller ID on my screen.

Is there a way to change that setting on the cablevision website?

I dont have Cablevision anymore but I remember there was a way to turn off the notifications from the cable box.

I think you can call cable and they can walk you through it.

Thanks Lisa, I wish I didn't have cablevision anymore. I'm trying avoid calling them because their phone system takes 10 minutes to get a person on the phone & they always pi$$ me off! Chat Icon

Re: a optimum voice question

Yes, there is a certain channel number (in the 600s) that can turn this off.

Give me a minute and I will find the correct channel number for you.

ETA - try channel 630
