A line is a line, right?

I am about 11dpo (I had a IVF transfer on 9/23, so I *think* I'm about 11dpo). This morning, I tested using a First Response Test and got the FAINTEST line (but it's there). I used a dollar tree test, and there is no pink test line, but I can see the outline of a positive test line in white. I'm wondering if it's still a little too early and that's why the line is so faint. With DD, I tested positive at 11dpo with a digital. If my levels are still low, the line might get darker tomorrow, right? Could use some positive vibes Chat Icon TIA!

Hope this is it for you. Faint lines can definitely be bfp's, but the white outline one sounds like an evaporation line to me. Test again tomorrow and good luck!

It's a white-ish or grayish line or dent looking mark on the test strip which is where the BFP line would be, but it is not- just what is left after the liquid evaporates. Any line that comes up after the test limit and/or does not have the color of a true BFP (pink or blue dye) is most likely an evaporation line in my experience.

Re: A line is a line, right?

Tested again this morning, and got a negative on the digital Chat Icon However, the FRER test had a VERY faint line (the same as yesterday) and the dollar tree test had a faint pink line too. I think I'm 12dpo (my transfer was last Friday 9/23, 9 days ago). Should I be worried that the line isn't getting darker? Could it still be too early?

I did a ton this morning (running errands, etc.) and am very crampy right now. I'm sitting on the couch with my feet up. I HATE not knowing what's going on and my beta isn't until Friday Chat Icon

Re: A line is a line, right?

I got a faint line yesterday on a FRER

I used a digital this morning and got a pregnant. Did you use first morning urine? The digitals arent as senstive as the FRER tests....

Yes, I used FMU. I just thought the line would have been darker today, but it was the same light line as yesterday Chat Icon With DD, I tested positive on a digital at 11dpo, so I'm getting worried that this isn't it for me (I know, every pregnancy is different!).

Re: A line is a line, right?

The digital are less sensitive so you might not have enough HCG yest to trigger it. A line is a line. so its def positive

Even if the line is SUPER light (as in almost not there). I know it's there because DH and my BFF said they saw it, too!

Congratulations to you by the way!! Chat Icon

Re: A line is a line, right?

Try giving it another 2 days and retest, but if you are starting to get a line, I would think it is BFP!
