I'm gonna chop off my hair: Now with Before and After Pics!
Anyone who knows me, knows that I have had long hair for a very long time. It had gotten so long that after baby #2, I cut off 18 inches and donated it to Locks of Love last April. So, this year, I've had elective surgery, and it has left my once very shiny, nice hair- looking horrible. I have lost about 1/3 of my hair so it is a lot less full. It is one length and boring, with a slight wave to it- and it touches my bra strap. I am a full time working mommy to two daughters (1 and 2 years old) and a dog, step mommy to 3 bigger kids and a wife. I sleep 5.5 hours a day and have zero time (and no skill) to maintain a time consuming hairstyle.
Please help me pick a style that would be easy to care for (wash n' go) as well as a color (I'm thinking a base color and highlights to help cover my grey.) I am thinking of going short (anything about the shoulders is very short to me!) I think my face is heart shaped, I have green eyes and my hair is brown with red undertones, if that matters. Please help! I have an appt on Wed at 2pm. Post pics of celebs if you think of anything!

I completely agree. Your face is a great shape and a bob would look beautiful! Maybe side swept bangs too?

You will look AMAZING with a bob! You have such a pretty face, it will really accentuate your cheekbones. Bangs and a slightly redder color will bring out your eyes! Do it and show us pics

I like #2... I've done super short before and it's hard to pull back in a ponytail. It gets super annoying having wispy pieces hanging in your face too... I would do #2 and invest in some clips just in case! I can't wait to see it!!!

I think your face is more oval than heart shaped, I think any cut would look good on you.
But just a caution about cutting hair, it can be a very different texture when its short. So if its wavy now, it might curl up at a shorter length. Talk to a very good stylist!

You'd look gorgeous with a bob but I DEF find that short hair is way more work than long. Just a heads up.

Chin length bob, Gabi!!!!!!! Your face is GORGEOUS and it will put sooooooo much attention on your gorgeous eyes  Color wise I think the chick in pic #3 above is exactly the ballpark you want to be in!!!!!!

Thanks babe. I think I'll probably invest in a hair straightener too so it won't look like a flyaway mess!

I love the color in #3 for you! I think it would really bring out your eyes. You are beautiful so any of the three cuts above would look good on you but I personally really like #2 and think you would look great with that hairstyle!

I love #3 or #2 (but with color of #3). You can definitely pull those off, you have a great bone structure, shorter bob will look very good on you!

i really like the first one, but that's cause I don't think i've ever seen you with bangs..haha...here are a few I found in my "hair" file that you might like...i've gone thru all lengths! Gabi I wish you could see how gorgeous you really are! I agree with the PPs, a chin-length bob will show off your amazing bone structure and really emphasize your eyes. I can't wait to see pics
