I am sooooooooooo bored!
DH is in Richmond visiting friends, so I'm stuck here in the middle of nowhere doing NOTHING.
I absolutely hate it here! I can't wait to move to where I have friends!
I've cleaned the apartment, watched 3 movies, and done a whole bunch of grading. I'm losing my mind here!
I need to do something! At this point i'd drive the 1 1/2 up to the DC area if someone wanted to do something.
Anyone else around to entertain me?
I know I'm whining, but I just want to bang my head against the wall at this point.

thanks! I'll be fine. I think it's just that it was so nice outside today, but i had nobody to enjoy it with, and nothing to do outside.
normally i'm not so antsy and i embrace days to just sit around. but it was too pretty out to sit around!

i actually still have a stack of essay's to grade that i'm avoiding 
Grading essay's is soooo much worse than writing them! Especially when they're essay's by 5th graders!

I SOOOOOOOOOOO agree! And my kids only have to do one paper for the entire year (it IS music, after all ). And I feel like it's the most dreaded unit of the year because I have to endure reading all their papers

I hear ya!! I teach 7th grade math - and reading their extended response answers is painful!! I usually can't get through it without a bottle of win!

I'm just so relieved that the writing test is over so that i can tone down on the essays. I feel like i've been reading 1 a week for the last 2 months.
At least the one i have to grade is more of a story, so it should be a little bit more enjoyable.

sorry for the Napolean Dynomite reference. i just couldnt control myself.
maybe carry a watermelon around and introduce yourself to your neighbors? Goats love watermelon too, i think.

it's like a llama. but not. i think.

I wonder how fast they gallop. They're pretty stationary each time i've passed by and i see them.
