4yr old vomiting after immunizations
Has anyone had this happen?
My 4yr old has NEVER thrown up.
He got MMR & varicella today & just woke up vomiting.
No fever, but he says his belly hurts.
I'll call the ped in the morning, but wondering if anyone has had this happen.

Maybe check the cdc info sheets but I would suspect maybe he picked up a stomach bug while at the ped.

Sounds like a stomach virus. Maybe picked up while you were at the dr's office. But prob unrelated to the vaccines, especially since those aren't the first doses of either.

Yeah vomitting shouldn't be a side effect of that- it sounds like a coincidence and is probably a stomach bug

Doc agreed stomach virus.
I'm relieved it's not a reaction, but I'm sure his system was taxed from the shots. I should have kept him home from school.
Seems like a quick one. He's holding down liquids already.
