 | Ok, First NFR post...but is it? UPDATE PAGE 2 UPDATE PAGE 2!
I have no idea where this post shoudl be?! I was thinking home, but well, it's not only about home. I was thinking the recipe section, but well, I don't need any recipes...So I figured this would be a good place as any!

I am so excited because we are having our first "grown up" dinner party on Saturday night. Here is the menu:

 "Limoncello Chicken"
(kind of like Chicken Francese - omg, i just realized...can pregnant women eat something like that if the alcohol is cooked off?)

 "Moozerella Infused Mashed Potato Bake"

 "Fresh Brocolli"

 "Antipasto"

 "Dessert"

Ok, and the best part is... I am making my own centerpiece. I am using the florist water foam and 4 small square vases. I'm going to make the arrangements and make it look like one big centerpiece. Then, at the end of the night, I am going to present each woman with one vase... I wanted to do this at my wedding, but we didn't. How fun is that!

I feel like a grown up! And we got our place all decorated with our wedding photo - it's the winkflash canvas and I love it!

Depending on how you cook something, the alcohol gets burned off. (Not a cook at all, just chockful of useless info-http://homecooking.about.com/library/archive/blalcohol12.htm )

Yes, absolutely! In fact, preggo ladies are allowed to have a whole glass of wine on occasion if they really want to. Not that I have, but the option is there

Thank you. The last thing I'd want to do is alienate her... I had no clue!
I may actually, just as a side, make some chicken that isn't drenched in the alcohol...just in case for someone else! |
