Julie, I know how you feel, I was 9 days late! Just try and enjoy this time and get lots of rest, you will need it.

It will happen.

Re: 41 week appointment

I am totally OK with being late. I am very patient and want what is best for the baby - if he isn't ready well then I will wait! BUT Now that we have an induction date set I feel like I have a deadline to meet Chat Icon
I really really really don't want to be induced. I know many of you have had sucessful inductions, but I don't want 1) to not be allowed to eat 2) to be hooked up to ivs 3) to have the fetal monitor on me constantly 4) to be stuck in bed... just to name a few.
Obviously I will do what is best for the baby but I can't help but feel disappointed - this is not the way I visioned things.

I'd like to say that things happen for the best. I was also scheduled to be induced on a friday, and she came on a Thursday all on her own.

When I had my DD, I was really depressed because NOTHING was like I invisioned it. Honestly, this is only the begining of nothing being like we invision things, babies have their own plans and their own ways. I was really depressed after she was born, because nothing was like I immagined, and when I learned that things just happen on their own plans, my depression got better.

So.. just wanted to say to try and not plan this. Because when it doesn't happen as planed it can cause depression... it did wit me.
