Updated with question for those who answered GRACO- For those that are registering for a bassinet or pack in play with bassinet for baby to sleep in for first few months...

Which brand are you getting and why? And, also, any good tips on websites for product reviews. I read some helpful ones on BRU and am still waiting for my Baby Bargains book I ordered last week.

**ETA: For those that answered they are getting a graco - pack in play - are you using this as the baby's bassinett in your room - is this where the baby will sleep for the first few months?**

Sorry for the questions I'm just curious as to how many people will actually use the pack in play as a bassinet if this is doable or if i should also register for a bassinet

THANK YOU! Chat Icon

I have "inherited" a 50-year-old bassinett. Not sure if we will use it as it is a bit rickety.

I just bought the Mini Co-Sleeper. Not sure there are many choices out there...

I registered for a Graco one with the bassinet part (I think the pattern is Grenada). I believe Baby Bargains gives Graco excellent reviews, that's why I registered for it.

I've been looking at Graco ones as well - did you get the travel lite crib or the pack n play with bassinet attachment? Are these only good for once in a while traveling or can they be used every night? Thank you!

The one we registered for is the PNP with the bassinet attachment (also has a changing station attached), it's like $99 at BRU. I plan on using it every night for the first few months, when baby sleeps in our room right by my bed. Many people use these now instead of separate, traditional bassinets.

I registered for the 5-in-1 from BRU. It's either Kolcraft or Simplicity. I can't decide on a PNP yet.

We registered for the Mini Co-sleeper for home, and if the baby spends the night at grandparents, we have the pack and play by Graco--pattern Bermuda.

I used this for my first - and will use it for this one too. When they go into the crib, it makes a great clean clothes bin...LOL

ETA: I also registered for the PNP but it's too big for my bedroom so I will leave it in the living room.

We live in a Victorian so we registered for both a pack n play (for downstairs)... the Graco Heirloom Pattern (Black Toile).... because of its Baby Bargains ratings...

And the mini co-sleeper for our bedroom!

Good Luck registering....

This is the bassinet that we ordered this weekend it is by Green Frog Art. We got this one because it goes perfectly with all the other furniture for the nursery.

We got the Graco PnP from BRU. I think it's in the pattern 'Devon', but I could be wrong.
