3rd tri ladies...
As we near the end, I have a question for you:
Anyone feel anti-social and reclusive?
I have very little I have ZERO desire to be chatty and conversational. I also have even less patience/tolerance for idiocy. Thoughts? Please share.

Some days I feel a little more anti-social. I think it's because I get so tired so easily now and I'm not always comfortable that I just am not always in the mood to be social and chipper. However, I keep telling myself to enjoy the socializing while I still can because once this baby arrives I don't think we'll be getting out all that much!!

See thats when you exploit how tired you REALLY are and have people bring you stuff like trays of eggplant parm, Ralph's ices and what not.

I totally know what you are talking about. I have hit a wall over the past week. I have NO patience at work and I can feel the tiredness and laziness coming back. I think with the heat it is making it a little worse, like I know how hot it is so I don't even want to leave the AC plus the summer crowds which I don't have patience for when not pregnant. Yeah, I would say I'm cranky

I feel the same way!!!! And the closer I am to people the less social I am. My mom is always asking me if I'm OK. I am so not myself anymore.

Wow.. no... I can't say I am. Actually I am constantly accused of being too happy for a preggo
I'm usually a happy person with spurts of irrational pissiness when folks push me to hard. I'm faster to the intolerant stage.. that's true. Takes less to get me set off, mostly cause I feel like I have more important things to think about that some stupid work or xyz thing.

yep.. i'm pretty much queen B right now.. i have no patience for incompetence, slowness, stupidity, or pretty much anything else.. please don't talk to me too much, and please don't ask me a hundred times if i need something.. 1st off.. i want it bad enough i will waddle my self and go get it on my own, or i will ask u.. but for u to volunteer 40 times in a row, it ain't helping..
and if i am up doing something for myself please don't ask me to do it for me.. i am really just happy to be up and able to do said activity on my own..please let me do as much as i can before i get to tired of standing..

You talked to me when I called you. You definitely didn't come across as antisocial, just tired.  And yes, it's normal to feel how you're feeling. I felt the same way from the end of my 2nd trimester and all through the 3rd.

Well, I always have zero tolerance for idiocy, but now getting towards the end, it is even worse! If someone does or says something idiotic, I snap. I also have no desire to converse with people in the grocery store, or when I am out. I always get the same old thing: "You must have twins in there, you are huge"
It takes everything in me to not just start swinging at people these days.

i am feeling the same way... i push myself to go out and hang out with friends but honestly i would much rather hang out with my DH in bed eating ice cream, watching TV and feeling the baby move.
i also have ZERO patience at work and on the road... but that is nothing new. it's jsut that i feel more entitled now. don't these people know i am pregnant???????

me too!! sometimes I don't even want to be bothered opening my mouth, I'd rather just sit quietly. at home. by myself.
