We are having a birthday party for my sons 2nd birthday with about 15 kids at Bounce U
We are also going to have a party at my house for him with only my immediate family

Yes--DD is a late spring/summer baby so we had it in the yard.
DS is at the end of March. We did a smaller party for his 1st a the house and then did a bigger 2nd Bday at Nunleys Carousel. You're able to have 25 kids and 25 adults...It worked out perfectly.

For the second, we did immediate family at our house for cake only.
It was perfect. Both kids had no idea it was their birthday.
We went kiddie party for three and did (and are planning to do) 4s in our house/backyard.

Yes, at our home and it was just family. My DS is a June baby and DD is a May baby so we had them outside. We start with "big" parties at 3 years old.

Yes. We had a little over 20 kids at a gymnastics place near our house. We also had dinner and cake at home with family.

Every year we do a joint family party with my nephew whose bday is a couple days after dd's. But for her second to make it special I took my nephews and niece so 4 kids and we went to build a bear. I paid for everything. It was cheap and fun.

Yes I did for DD she is a January baby so I can't have it outside. I found a deal on amazon for I think $150 at play/craft type place geared for little kids so I had it there. I figured it would cost just as much to have something at my house and the plus I didn't have to clean up the aftermath

This. For 2 reasons...
I would rather spend that money elsewhere. ..like her college fund or a family vacation.
And I HATE planning parties. Like with a passion.

We didn't have a big party for DD's 2nd bday. Instead we had a few different small gatherings with each side of the family (mine, DHs mom's and dh dad's sides separate since they are divorced. We had a cake for dd and sang to her at each gathering.
