2 naps a day...

Can you tell me your schedule for 2 naps a day?

What time does DC go to bed at night, wake up in the morning, go down for naps, and how long do they sleep?

I want to get Ryan on this schedule. Just need a little outline.

My son (12 weeks old) goes to bed between 7:30-8pm and wakes up at 2-3am for a feeding sometimes. Otherwise he's been known to sleep through the night until 6am. Then he goes down for a nap at 7:15 for about 2 hours usually. Then around noon he'll go down for another nap for an hour or up to 2 hours. It all depends on the day.

Somedays he takes 2 hour naps and sometimes it's only half an hour to an hour. He used to be very consistent with the 2 hour ones, but lately not so much.

Re: 2 naps a day...

My son is 16 months old....but here is his schedule

Bedtime: 730-830
Wakes up between 7 and 730
Nap-between 9 and 930--naps for about an hour, sometimes 1 1/2 hours.
Nap-between 2 and 2:30, again for an hour or so

ETA: It really is true that when they nap during the day, they sleep better at night....we had quite a few struggles with this, but once he started to have good naps, he started to sleep better at night.

Also, they have a harder time going in for a nap when they are overtired.

I like your schedule! I think I can do this one. Thanks for sharing!

Re: 2 naps a day...

DS is 12 months, but has been consistent since around 4 months or so. My parenthesis are what *can* happen on any given day.

8:30 am WAKE
(sometimes he is up at 7:15, sometimes 9:15 ... we just shift out naps times later then)

10:30 am - 12:30 pm NAP
(goes down as early as 10:15 am and wakes usually no later than by 1:30 pm)

3:30 - 5:30 NAP
(goes down as early as 3 pm and wakes no later than 6 pm)

8:30 BED
(9:30 pm is the latest I will keep him up if he naps late)

Re: 2 naps a day...

Kristina is 7.5 months old...

She wakes around 8 sometimes 7ish, sometimes 9.

She goes down for a nap around 11. Sleeps for around 2 hours.

Goes down for a nap around 3. I let her sleep til the latest 5:30 REGARDLESS of what time she went down.

She goes to sleep anywhere from 7 to 8.

We've lost our 2nd nap in the last few weeks Chat Icon, but this is what it used to look like:

Wake up: 6:30/7

Nap: 9:30/10 (for about an hour)

Nap: 2:30/3 (for another hour)

Bedtime: 7/7:30 (straight through)

Re: 2 naps a day...

DD is 11 months.

8-8:30 wake up

9-breakfast

anywhere from 10-11:30 she'll take her morning nap and nap from 30mins to 2 hours

lunch about an hour after she wakes up

and usually her afternoon nap is around 2-4:30 and she'll nap about the same amount as morning

dinner at 6-6:30

bath is at 7:30

Bed is at 8-8:30

When she was younger she was by the book when it came to being on a schedule but as she's gotten older I'm not as worried about keeping her on a schedule since we're out more often then we were when she was younger.

Re: 2 naps a day...

Ava goes to bed at about 8:30 and wakes up at 5am for a bottle and then goes back to sleep til about 7ish.

9-10am she will nap for about an hour or two
2:00 another nap for about an hour or two
7:30pm- bath, bottle and then bed at 8:30.

Sometimes she skips a nap though and I do think it messes her up. Let me know how your schedule goes with ryan.. ours is still a work in progress!
