   Well if this lady was old enough to die then this pos is old enough to be responsible for her actions and go to jail for the rest of her life.
This is what it comes down to for me as well. Someobody should have closed her mouth for her the second the accident occurred.

I went to HS with the victim's son. He was also a super nice kid. I feel so bad for the family. I was absolutely floored when I saw what she said. Who says that? I read that the next thing that came out of her mouth was wanting to see a copy of the newspaper or see the news clips so she could see what she looked like.  At the time of the accident, she was on her way to court because she stole jewelry from her step-father and resold it. What a winner!

I think the whole situation is awful, I feel so bad for that poor woman who was just mowing the lawn! I can't believe someone could say those things! This girl sounds like she has serious drug addiction issues and needs help, if it's true that the insurance company wouldn't pay for her treatment then shame on them!!!!

that's disgusting and her little "at least she was old" comment is horrible. Yeah, maybe that makes you feel better than if you'd run over, say, a child - but one person's life is not less important than another. That's terrible that it seems like she just dismissed it like that. I'm sure she'd feel different if it was HER mother, grandmother, Aunt, etc.
