and the fact that the insurance company would only pay 7 days of a 28-day program was not lost on me.
but..I mean...blech. she's a drug addict and she is not doing herself any favors by talking.

Ha!  I just realized that 
I really have no remorse for these drug addicted teens. Ive seen some kid snort in TGIFridays right in front of my eyes. They have their whole life ahead of them & they just throw it all away.
I'm sure she will be someones b*tch in jail. No doubt.

she is in the medical ward at the jail now
I think she has a serious drug problem and is going thru detox
her lawyer also just said those statements were made after 12 hours of questioning and she was hysterical for 6 hours over what happened
she is a kid, with issues- and I not sure what I would be saying after all those hours of questions- most people start saying stuff to make the police stop- like false confessions etc
the whole thing is so sad- that poor woman - just mowing her lawn

I have NO SYMPATHY for a 18 yr old hooked on drugs. she is a loser and deserves the max sentence and then some.

agreed, being a drug addict happens. Killing someone, then having NO REMORSE and being more concerned with yourself is not bc she is a drug addict, its bc she is poor excuse for a human being.

I feel so badly for the woman who passed and her family.
I hope that both the woman who drove/killed and the man that abdicated the wheel to her are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
